First question: Do you really need an app?
In half the cases we see, the answer is no. A well-designed website opens on your phone, can be pinned to the home screen, and doesn’t require anyone to download anything. An app makes sense when you need something a browser can’t do: notifications that come through even when the phone is locked, working without a signal, actual use of the camera or GPS, or when it’s a work tool that people open every day.
If you contact us about an app and we think a website would suffice, we’ll let you know before we give you a quote. It costs you less and saves both of us six weeks.
One app, two stores
We build the app once, and it runs on both iPhone and Android. It’s not a compromise: for almost all business apps, the result is indistinguishable from two separate apps—and it costs half as much. When native code is truly needed—for hardware integration or performance at the limit—we write it just for that specific part and nothing more.
